Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can join a party on a luxury yacht?
Guest limits vary based on the vessel's commercial certification. Dockside event licenses often allow higher capacities (up to 50–100+ guests on mega-yachts), while overnight cruising is typically limited to 12 sleeping guests due to safety laws. Always check local regulations with your provider.
Can we hire our own DJ or catering team?
Yes, most private charters allow you to bring external entertainment or specialized chefs, though working with the yacht’s resident crew and preferred vendors usually ensures a smoother experience because they know the ship's layout and equipment.
Are food and drinks included in the rental price?
Usually, the base charter fee covers the vessel, captain, and crew. Expenses like food, alcoholic beverages, fuel, dockage fees, and local taxes are typically handled through an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which your captain uses to stock the yacht according to your preferences.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the party?
Captains monitor weather patterns closely. If conditions are unsafe for cruising, the yacht will remain securely docked at the marina, where you can still host your entire party dockside in full luxury and comfort.
